Hey, I'm Abby!! I am a tattoo artist, gamer, nature lover, cat owner, chill guy and certified yapper, among other titles! ​​Here is my lil tattoo artist backstory...

​​I started tattooing in January 2022 after deciding to pursue a career in the arts. As a kid, I loved drawing, making comics and crafts, but as I got into my teen years and it came to choosing a university program, I felt pressured to choose something more ~serious~, even though I really had no clue what I wanted to do at the time. The program I ended up doing was called Environment & Urban Sustainability at TMU (or Ryerson back in my day👴). It was really interesting and I actually enjoyed it a lot, but I still felt really directionless by the end of it.

Fast forward a bit, after jumping around from random job to random job (restaurant, office job, thrift store, warehouse assembly line etc etc.), I began building my tattoo portfolio in 2020 during lockdown. At this time I already had quite a few tattoos myself, and when I thought about working in a tattoo studio it just clicked for me in a way no job had ever before. Now, three years in, I'm grateful SO freeaaaking grateful and honored to be able to meet and tattoo all the epic people who come to see me. Like, I really feel like I have the best clients ever, but I think every tattoo artist says that heheh.

My art has grown so much over these last 3 years, and I really want to continue to challenge myself and get better and stronger at tattooing and drawing/art in general!! I can be hard at times, but it's so worth it!

Manifesto
I made this website as a way to express myself creatively in an online space. Do you remember Geocities? The MySpace days? Well me neither, because I never used either of those😅. BUT, despite not experiencing it, I really love the creativity that went into people's individual pages. You could get a sense of what someone was like, not just through what they posted, but through the entire experience of being on their page. That's what I'm trying to achieve here too.

I hope this site can be a place that goes beyond just being an extension of my work as an artist! I want it to represent ~me~ as a person.
